Acupuncture

It may seem strange for many people to consider the idea of using hair-fine needles to penetrate specific points in the body to relieve pain, symptoms of disease and bring the body back to health and serenity. While difficult to grasp at first, history has shown that acupuncture has been treating patients on nearly every continent for thousands of years, clearly speaking to the effectiveness of this sometimes misunderstood practice of medicine.

The breakdown of how it works: Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture look at our bodies as constantly seeking natural balance and strength. The energy (Qi) is constantly circulating in our bodies, and when it becomes out of balance, blocked or stagnated pain occurs. It is up to the acupuncturist to diagnose and figure out where to apply those hair-fine needles, in order to recirculate that energy.

Acupuncture requires us to look at health and healing with a different perspective. Our bodies are constantly seeking balance, just as nature does. By integrating acupuncture, massage, cupping, moxibustion, guasha, and modern nutrition, we create this balance while ensuring energy can move smoothly, connecting the body in a web-like matrix which promotes self healing for our bodies to work at their highest potential.
